About the Program
What is the Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Program?
Our Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Program is a 500-hour course of study designed to prepare graduates to teach confidently and effectively across the full Pilates system. The program is divided into two phases: Phase One (Mat, Reformer & Special Populations) and Phase Two (Comprehensive Apparatus & Professional Development).
Can I take Phase One on its own, without committing to the full program?
Yes. Phase One stands alone as a Mat, Reformer & Special Populations Certification. You'll receive a Certificate of Completion and will be eligible — but not obligated — to continue into Phase Two at a later date.
What does Phase One cover?
Phase One covers essential and intermediate Reformer repertoire, classical and contemporary Mat repertoire, Pilates principles and foundational theory, breath mechanics and core integration, group and private session programming, prenatal and postnatal considerations, common injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, and adaptive, inclusive instruction.
What does Phase Two cover?
Phase Two introduces the remaining apparatus (Cadillac/Trapeze Table, Chair, Barrels), advanced programming, movement assessment, client progression strategies, professional teaching skills, advanced cueing and lesson design, and a teaching practicum.
How many hours does the full program include?
The 500-hour program breaks down as: 70 hours in-studio training, 150 hours online coursework, 20 hours assistant teaching, and 260 hours of mentored professional development.
What are Mentored Professional Development Hours?
These hours bridge classroom learning and real-world teaching. Working with a Master Trainer, students complete individualized activities such as observing experienced instructors, practice and peer teaching, case studies, lesson planning, and studio mentorship.

When does Phase Two begin?
Registration for future Phase Two sessions is opening soon. Phase One graduates will be notified directly.
Cost & Registration How much does Phase One cost?
Tuition for the Mat, Reformer & Special Populations Certificate is $2,000.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit of $400 holds your spot, with the remaining balance due prior to the first day of training.
Do you offer payment plans?
We do not currently offer payment plans. Full tuition is due before the first day of training.
If I complete Phase One and later enroll in Phase Two, does my tuition count toward the full program?
Yes. Your Phase One tuition is applied as credit toward the full Comprehensive Program if you choose to continue.
How do I register?

How many students are accepted per session?
Space is intentionally limited to 8–10 participants to ensure hands-on, personalized instruction.
Materials & preparation
Are training manuals included?
Yes. Digital manuals are provided to all participants at no additional cost. You're welcome to print them for personal use.
Will I have access to materials before the first in-studio day?
We're working to have online video tutorials and instructional materials available to you before your first weekend, so you can arrive prepared.
Do I need previous Pilates experience to enroll?
No.
Certification & Career
Will I be certified to teach after Phase One?
You'll receive a Certificate of Completion in Mat, Reformer & Special Populations. Completing both Phase One and Phase Two fulfills the requirements for the full 500-Hour Comprehensive Certificate.
Does this program prepare me for the NCPT exam?
Yes. The program is designed to support preparation for the Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) examination through the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP). Note that NPCP registration and exam fees are separate from program tuition and are the student's responsibility. Certification is awarded independently by the NPCP and is not guaranteed upon completion of this course alone.
Are there apprenticeship opportunities after training?
Students may be eligible for paid apprenticeship opportunities through participating studios and training partners, depending on availability and student readiness.
